Android app · Grown-up steps
A private, invitation-only pilot with a saved profile for each phone. The pictures above show the website, not the Android app.
- Install Sedira Masjid from the app file privately shared by the organiser. This guide does not provide a store link.
- The organiser opens the live trial, sets up the mosque, confirms adult supervision, then chooses “Pair one phone”. Each invitation works once and expires after 24 hours.
- A parent or guardian reads and accepts the app disclosure, chooses a nickname, and scans the private invitation to pair the phone. Do not use the child’s real name.
- For a home demonstration, open Test now → Open test QR → Open display on a computer or TV. The changing attendance code is different from the phone’s invitation code.
- In the app, tap Scan, scan the live attendance code, then tap Confirm. Keep the phone and display connected to the internet.
- See saved progress in Today, Week or Month. A manual “I prayed” gives 1 Pearl. QR confirmation makes that prayer gold with 27 total, not 28. Demonstration entries are marked as tests.
Pearls are encouragement points, not a measure of religious reward. Scanning records access to the code and does not prove prayer. Guest browser check-ins are separate and do not add to the Android profile.

You can test from home. Keep the screen and phones connected to the internet.
- Open the live trial and sign in. First time? Create a private organiser code and save it safely. Guest browser check-ins do not need an account.
- Enter a mosque name and timezone, then choose Create my mosque. Leave prayer times blank for a home test.
- Choose Test now → Open test QR. The test lasts 15 minutes. Then choose Open display.
- Share Copy display link with testers. After they confirm, see their nicknames under Latest session check-ins.
Automatic schedule: QR opens 2 minutes after saved iqamah for 20 minutes. Enter and maintain approved mosque times; there is no live official timetable feed yet.
Use nicknames and supervise children. Guest browser attendance is separate from the Android profile and does not add Pearls to it. The invited app saves its own progress and balance. Check-in is not proof of prayer.
Code not working?
Ask a grown-up for help. Scan the fresh code on the live screen, not an old picture. It changes every 30 seconds. After scanning, confirm within 2 minutes and before the check-in window closes.
